Oasis at the Port

I always think the Port of Oakland is all about container ships, giant cranes, and million of cargo. To my surprise, there is a public shoreline park right next to this busy seaport.

Abandoned rail at the park - safe place to photograph the track

The park is an excellent place for birdwatching. We encountered this pelican as we walked along the trail. Not only did this bird not afraid of us for getting too close, it kept change its pose for pictures. :p

I always want to get a closer spot to see the silhouette of San Francisco downtown. Now I know where to go for it. ;)

好特別!
