Golden Mountain Restaurant (華苑山莊) - Hayward

Golden Mountain used to serve excellent Hakka Cuisine (客家菜), but no more after the restaurant was sold. My brother thinks it should be okay if we order something other than the Hakka dishes. We are surprised to see they had changed their menu. Now they have the set dinner special with 3 dishes and 1 soup and they also organize the dishes under different price categories (just like the dim sum menu). We had ordered stew pork with pickle veggie (梅菜扣肉), stir fry leaf mustard (芥菜), and steamed meat cake. We ordered a Hakka dish at last :p



The food quality is not too bad, but the quantity are quite small compare to the other restaurants which also offer the same set dinner special.
